As the Sr Director, Business Intelligence you'll be a key architect across the enterprise for understanding consumer behavior, the marketplace, macro trends and what it all means for our $10B business. Home to some of the most iconic brands-Goldfish, Pepperidge Farm, Campbell's Soup, Prego, RAO's, Snyder's, and others. You'll set the vision and lead transforming business results with syndicated panel, POS and other secondary data sources with actionable insight. You will also architect the future of how we leverage buyer behavioral data including AI implementation, standardization of reporting and analytics, defining best practices, and elevating organizational capabilities in data analytics and storytelling with data.

Performs analysis and prepares forecasts and recommendations in the areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends. Research market conditions to determine potential sales of a product.

What you will do...
Proactively identify and share growth opportunities based on expertise of analytic capabilities, category insights, and depth of business knowledge.
Distill disparate data and insights into meaningful narratives that influence our most senior leaders including the CEO, CFO, Investor relations, Division Presidents, CMO, CGO and Head of Insights.
Manage a team of internal and external experts to be experts in the data, analytic techniques, reporting and integration of data into holistic insights.
Envision, build, and drive integration of best practices as well as core capabilities across the Enterprise with foresight in analytics and behavior. Resulting in democratized insights through automation and standardization of reporting and analytics.
Build a team culture grounded in curiosity, continuous learning, thought leadership, and mastery of Insights & Analytics skills.
Drive a deep human knowledge of consumers, humanizing data leveraging empirical, evidence-based marketing best practices.
Live the Campbells core values of care, character, creativity, competitiveness, and collaboration.
Execute with excellence by understanding the business, driving insights to action, maximizing vendor partners, and helping steer the enterprise Insights & Analytics team.

Who you will work with...

  • You will manage a team of 7 internal employees and 10+ external contractors, be a member of the Enterprise Insights & Analytics leadership team, and report to the enterprise Head of Insights.

What you bring to the table... (Must Have)

Minimum 12 years of experience across Analytics, Insights, with a strong preference for CPG and Food experience (3+ years at a Director or Sr Director level within CPG, 5+ years VP experience vendor side)
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline is required. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience managing senior managers, preferably at the enterprise level.
Proven track record influencing senior leadership with sharp, strategic insight, and executive presence.
A mix of rigor and creativity-deep mastery of analytic approaches paired with the ability to tell compelling stories that bring the human to life through understanding individual behavior.
Strategic fluency-the ability to see both the big picture and the human truth behind the numbers.
High efficiency and task management - Expert at managing several projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or timing.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$200,100-$275,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
