Job Summary


 We are seeking a detail-oriented PeopleSoft Tester to support quality assurance efforts for enterprise PeopleSoft applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts, with a strong emphasis on automation using the PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF). The ideal candidate will ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple modules and environments. 


Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for PeopleSoft applications 
  • Utilize PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) to design and implement automated test cases 
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios 
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) 
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools 
  • Support test planning activities, including test strategy, test cases, and test data preparation 
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects 
  • Participate in Agile or Waterfall development cycles as required 
  • Provide clear and concise test documentation and status reporting

Education and Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft testing, including PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) 
  • Experience developing automated test scripts and executing test cycles 
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices 
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools 
  • Ability to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios

Desired Skills

  • Experience testing PeopleSoft HCM
  • Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing 
  • Experience working in Agile environments 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
