Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Consultant to support, enhance, and optimize PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) applications in a government environment. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PeopleSoft technical development, integration, and customization, ensuring compliance with government standards and security policies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and enhance PeopleSoft FSCM modules (GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Asset Management, etc.).
  • Work on PeopleTools (App Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, Component Interface, BI Publisher, etc.).
  • Perform data migration, upgrades, and patches using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
  • Develop and maintain interfaces, reports, and workflows integrating PeopleSoft with external government systems.
  • Ensure compliance with government security, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance tuning, and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, end-users, and stakeholders to ensure system efficiency.
  • Provide documentation, training, and technical support.
Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PeopleSoft FSCM technical development.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker.
  • Experience in SQL, SQR, PS Query, BI Publisher, XML Publisher.
  • Familiarity with public sector financial processes and regulations.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, migrations, and PUM tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Knowledge of Federal/State financial regulations.
  • Prior experience in a government or public sector project.
