Job Summary:
Veracity Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer to join their team in Nashville, TN. The role involves developing, modifying, and maintaining PeopleSoft Financials applications, utilizing technical and functional knowledge to support finance teams and enhance system functionality.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, modify, and maintain PeopleSoft Financials applications to meet business needs and use technical and functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials (AP, GL, AM, PeopleSoft Security Administration)
• Configure system settings and test functionality within Oracle PeopleSoft, as well as analyze existing processes and implement innovative solutions to support finance teams
• Function as a subject matter expert on PeopleSoft functionality to assist users in researching and resolving business process issues as well as streamlining business processes.
• Enhance and optimize existing functionality using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and Application Engine
• Utilize strong SQL programming skills to support and enhance PeopleSoft applications, ensuring data accuracy and performance
• Assist with data cleanup and system maintenance activities
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft Financials applications
• Work proactively to minimize disruptions and maintain application performance
• Partner with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality
• Provide support during system rollouts and ensure a smooth transition for end users
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Peoplesoft 9.2 and integrated development environments including PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, DataMover, Configuration Manager, Application Engines, SQR, SQL, and nVision.
• 3+ years of finance experience or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on software trouble shooting experience
• Working technical knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Component Interface, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, Data Warehousing, COBOL or any other PeopleSoft technical area
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and coordinate multiply projects simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
Preferred:
• Experience with tools such as Peoplesoft, Clarity PPM, JIRA, etc.
• A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred
• A strong desire to learn
