About Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG)

Innovation Through Integration.

Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG) is a vertically integrated real estate company with more than 1,200 employees across 46+ communities - and growing.

For over 20 years, we’ve developed and operated multifamily and senior living communities across Texas and Oklahoma, delivering more than 15,000 units and $2 billion in total development.

What sets IREG apart is our integrated approach, bringing together development, construction, and operations to create high-performing communities across affordable housing, workforce housing, and market-rate living, including multifamily, active adult, independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

At IREG, innovation isn’t just what we build, it’s how we operate, grow, and develop our people.

We build communities and develop the people who lead them.

About the Opportunity

Location: Watercrest at Kingwood

Employment Type: Full-Time

Company: Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG)

Lead the community. Develop the team. Elevate the resident experience.

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead the overall performance of our senior living community, bringing together people, operations, financial stewardship, occupancy growth, and exceptional resident service.

About the Opportunity

As Executive Director, you’ll serve as the senior leader of the community, overseeing daily operations, department performance, financial results, staffing, resident satisfaction, sales, occupancy, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll lead department directors, establish clear expectations, and build a culture where employees feel supported, residents and families feel connected, and the community consistently meets its operational and financial goals. This role reports to the Regional Director of Operations and partners closely with regional and corporate leadership.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead the overall operation and performance of the community, including resident services, sales, business operations, dining, programming, housekeeping, maintenance, and other service areas
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain strong department leaders while creating clear expectations and accountability throughout the community
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to strengthen referral relationships, increase occupancy, and achieve community revenue goals
  • Build trusted relationships with residents and families while ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, licensing requirements, company policies, and resident-rights standards
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels, effective scheduling, and properly trained employees across all departments
  • Conduct regular leadership meetings, review department performance, identify operational concerns, and implement solutions
  • Promote a positive community presence through relationships with referral partners, healthcare providers, regulators, and local organizations
  • Protect confidential resident, employee, financial, and operational information

What Success Looks Like

  • The community consistently meets its occupancy, revenue, expense, and operational performance goals
  • Residents and families receive responsive service and have confidence in the community’s leadership
  • Department leaders understand expectations, communicate effectively, and take ownership of their results
  • Staffing levels remain stable, employees are engaged, and turnover is addressed proactively
  • Regulatory, licensing, safety, and company standards are maintained across every department
  • The community has a strong reputation with residents, families, referral partners, and the surrounding market

Who This Role Is For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
  • At least three years of leadership or supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, long-term care, healthcare, or a comparable service-based environment
  • Previous Executive Director, Administrator, or multi-department operations leadership experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading department managers and large, cross-functional teams
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and operational reporting
  • Experience supporting sales, marketing, referral development, and occupancy growth
  • Working knowledge of senior living regulations, licensing requirements, resident rights, and operational compliance
  • Current Residential Care Administrator License or other administrator credential required by state regulations
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator credential if applicable to the community’s licensing structure
  • Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn operational, financial, and resident-management systems

What Sets You Apart

  • You’re a visible, hands-on leader who builds trust with employees, residents, and families
  • You can balance resident experience, employee engagement, compliance, occupancy, and financial performance
  • You create accountability while providing employees with the coaching and support needed to succeed
  • You understand that everyone in the community plays a role in resident satisfaction and occupancy
  • You remain calm, decisive, and solution-focused when managing complex operational or people challenges

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to lead every aspect of a senior living community and make a measurable impact on resident experience, team culture, occupancy, and financial performance.

You’ll have the support of regional and corporate leadership while guiding department leaders, strengthening community performance, and creating an environment where residents, families, and employees feel valued. For an experienced senior living leader, this role offers meaningful influence within a growing organization committed to developing its people and communities.

  • Paid Holidays available upon hire
  • ZayZoon Access available immediately - access up to 50% of your earned wages on demand
