Job Description:

In this role, as People Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities and initiativesfor the Territory assigned. Acting asastrategic partner withtheleadership teamof these client groups, you'llprovide comprehensive and integrated HRleadership.Adopting the HR strategy, you'll drive the strategic HR agenda within the market. This role is hybrid, with some work from home and some work in the office location.

As an Elara Caring People Partner, you'll contribute to our success in the following ways:

  • Consults with branch management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Assist with the onboarding of new management to ensure understanding of HR practices, policies, programs, and protocols.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with your HRD and operations leadership to identify areas of need and develop solutions and programs to help meet business and HR goals.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance. Assist in coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Works closely with management and employees to ensure an engaged and productive work environment with a focus on retention. Manage the utilization of companywide engagement and communications programs including the Elara Heroes program, online recognition platform, and Elara Care app.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation counseling to ensure policy understanding and adherence.
  • Ensure state, CMS, and accreditation agency requirements of employment are met. Maintain HR files with assistance of HR Coordinator and audit for regulatory compliance.
  • Deploy Human Resources Support Resources to meet client group's need. Ensure excellent HR service delivery through coordinated efforts with the HR Service Center for frontline support, Learning and Development, Comp and Benefits, Worker's Comp, Leave Management, and UE support, and HR Operations/Payroll.
  • Proactively assist in resolving employee and manager issues or concerns to ensure a great employee experience at Elara Care.
  • Perform other duties and needed and/or assigned.

What is Required?

  • Bachelor's degree OR a High School Diploma with 2 to 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience is required
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Management Systems, preferably Workday
  • Able to strategically apply concepts and initiatives that align with the business directives
  • Experience in Home Health service or Hospice environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of performance management; conflict resolution, with the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The base salary for this position is$75,000 to $80,000 and is based on the company's good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
