POSITION TITLE: People Operations Support Specialist (Human Resources)

DEPARTMENT: People Operations

NATURE OF POSITION: The People Operations Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the People Operations (POPs) department. Often referred to as administrative or office support staff, they are the backbone of an organization, providing essential assistance to management, employees, and clients. This support is crucial for maintaining overall productivity and functionality in the workplace, contributing to a positive work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree in human resources or a related field, preferred and/or 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time wisely
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work quality
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, and respond to management
  • direction

    RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues, often requiring critical thinking and analytical skills while also referring to the POPs Director as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Providing guidance for colleagues or staff when needed.
  • Working effectively with team members and other departments to achieve common goals within The Clinic
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of POPs files and records
  • Provides clerical support to the POPs department
  • Assists in the daily operations of the POPs Department
  • Assists with essential functions of the POPs Department providing operational assistance to ensure the department runs smoothly
  • Maintain accurate and timely records
  • Cross trained in all aspects of the POPs Department
  • Provide assistance to clinic employees in areas such as recruitment, hiring, benefits administration, and overall employee needs
  • Foster a positive work environment
  • Assist in ensuring employee success
  • Performs other duties as assigned
