The People Analytics Analyst plays a visible role in how Verifone understands its workforce. Reporting to the Director of HR Process Improvement and People Analytics, this role owns workforce reporting, builds and maintains dashboards, supports external reporting, and uses AI tools including Claude to improve how we work with data.
This is a strong opportunity for an early-career professional who wants to build real expertise in People Analytics, Workday, and AI-enabled HR. You will work on problems that matter, see your work used by HR and business leaders, and develop skills that are in high demand.
Key Responsibilities
AI and Process Improvement
  • Use Claude and other generative AI tools to automate recurring reports, streamline analysis, and reduce manual work across HR operations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting and administrative processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, prompts, and workflows that improve team productivity.

HR Reporting and Analytics
  • Build, maintain, and enhance workforce dashboards covering headcount, turnover, hiring activity, and related metrics; analyze trends and surface insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Support recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and data requests from HR and business leaders.
  • Create visualizations and slide-ready summaries that help leaders act on workforce data.

Workday Reporting and Data Management
  • Partner with HR Operations and HRIS teams to improve data quality and reporting effectiveness.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Support ongoing enhancements to HR reporting processes and data management practices.

External Reporting and Surveys
  • Coordinate and complete workforce-related data requests and questionnaires, including ESG reporting, annual census submissions, and customer workforce questionnaires.
  • Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Claude, generative AI platforms, or workflow automation tools.
  • Exposure to Workday or other HRIS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with dashboarding or data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Internship or professional experience in HR, analytics, or a data-adjacent role.
  • Interest in People Analytics, HR technology, and process improvement.
