As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will close that gap. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role focused on helping our strategic enterprise customers design, implement, and realize long-term value from Atera’s Autonomous IT platform.You will serve as a senior technical presence and a hands-on builder. You’ll guide clients through complex AI-powered workflows, modernizing their IT service operations while bridging the gap between technical execution, architectural design, and Atera’s internal product evolution.What You’ll DoArchitect Enterprise Solutions: Lead strategic customer engagements from discovery through implementation, designing end-to-end Atera solutions across workflows, integrations, data design, and production go-lives.Hands-on Building & Integration: Act as a hands-on engineer, writing custom scripts, tailoring Atera’s AI automations, and building integrations to match each customer’s unique environment.The Internal Product Loop: Formally document the custom solutions, architectures, and workarounds built on-site. Deep familiarity with Windows/Mac endpoints, Active Directory, Azure AD, networking basics, and a solid understanding of the RMM/PSA landscape.Professional Experience: 8+ years of experience in post-sales technical architecture, professional services, or consulting-led enterprise delivery environments.Hands-on Coding Ability: Comfort and proficiency writing and debugging code (Python, Node.js, PowerShell, or similar) for integrations, API connections, and solution delivery in live customer environments.AI Fluency: Hands-on familiarity with the Gen AI landscape, LLM-based systems, and decomposing operational IT problems into AI/ML-solvable workflows is highly preferred.Consultative Communication & Presence: Strong whiteboarding, technical documentation, and consultative communication skills. Ability to establish a senior technical presence with customer teams without needing executive project ownership.Willingness to Travel: Ready to travel up to 30% for on-site customer engagements.What We OfferCompensation: The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role is $200,000–$250,000, with base salary and variable compensation structured to reflect the seniority and customer impact we expect from this hire.Benefits: Stock options, comprehensive health insurance (including dental and vision), generous PTO, and an annual learning & growth budget.Location: Hybrid setup — 3 days a week at our One Penn Plaza office, remote the rest.
