Key Responsibilities
XRF Applications Engineer - Semiconductor Metrology
We are seeking a talented and driven XRF Applications Engineer to join our growing team and support our X-ray fluorescence (XRF) lab product line. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in XRF-preferably within semiconductor metrology-who is passionate about translating complex capabilities into practical, customer-focused solutions.
As an Applications Engineer, you will play a key role in demonstrating the value of our technology, developing robust analytical workflows, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance product performance and usability. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge instrument offering unique capabilities in a fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver compelling customer demonstrations showcasing XRF system capabilities
  • Create high-quality application notes that highlight real-world use cases and analytical performance
  • Design and implement turnkey workflows tailored to diverse customer needs
  • Work closely with the algorithms team to optimize quantification methods and analytical accuracy
  • Collaborate with the software team to provide feedback on user interface and data analysis outputs, helping shape product improvements
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into effective solutions
  • Document workflows and methodologies clearly for internal use and customer adoption

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
