Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications and REST APIs.
- Lead functional testing of PEGA applications, covering business processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive automation and regression test suites.
- Perform API, service validation, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
- Manage test environments, test data, and release validation activities.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote shift-left quality practices.
- Coordinate E2E testing across multiple teams and manage test planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Lead defect management, root-cause analysis, resolution, and closure.
- Build and maintain test automation dashboards to track in-sprint and regression automation progress.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to implement QA best practices and defect prevention strategies.
- Partner with developers, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders to accelerate automation and ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QE processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with functional PEGA application testing.
- Proven experience designing and developing automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Strong expertise in regression testing, test automation, and test execution optimization.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, service validation, and integration testing.
- Experience with test environment management, test data strategy, and release validation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based testing, and shift-left testing practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with MongoDB for backend and data validation.
