Pediatric VFC & Immunization Coordinator
The Pediatric VFC & Immunization Coordinator oversees the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program and immunization operations within the pediatric practice.
Responsibilities include managing VFC enrollment and audits, maintaining vaccine storage and temperature logs, overseeing inventory and ordering, ensuring accurate EHR documentation, and collaborating with billing teams to support proper coding and claim submission. The coordinator also serves as a resource for staff training, quality improvement, and immunization compliance.
Qualifications
Required
  • Experience in a Pediatric medical practice

  • Working knowledge of the VFC Program

  • Strong understanding of immunization schedules and vaccine handling requirements
  • Experience with EHR systems and documentation standards
  • Excellent organizational and compliance-focused skills
Preferred
  • Clinical background (MA, LPN, RN, or equivalent experience)
