Job description

Peacemaker Lobster & Crab brings a taste of the coast to Kirkwood with fresh lobster, crab, oysters, po’boys, and seafood boils. In partnership with 4 Hands Brewing Co., we combine scratch-made food with craft beer and cocktails in a welcoming, relaxed setting. As our Kirkwood location prepares to expand into a full-service restaurant this fall, our Cashiers are key to creating a smooth guest experience—whether dining in, ordering takeout, or grabbing a quick meal.

What You’ll Do

As a Cashier, you’ll be the first and last point of contact for many of our guests. Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests warmly and taking orders with accuracy and efficiency

  • Operating the POS system to process cash and credit card transactions

  • Handling takeout and to-go orders with speed and attention to detail

  • Answering guest questions about the menu, specials, and restaurant services

  • Ensuring guests leave with a positive final impression of their visit

  • Assisting with light food running, bussing, and maintaining a clean service area

  • Supporting the transition to full-service by cross-training with FOH team members

Who You Are
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable in a guest-facing role

  • Strong multitasker with attention to detail and accuracy in handling payments

  • Team player who communicates well with both guests and staff

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment

  • Previous cashier or restaurant experience a plus, but not required
