Our Rehabilitation Center is equipped with the latest technologies and resources to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. As part of a diverse workforce, you will collaborate with dedicated professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses. Your work schedule will generally be Monday to Friday, with some rotating shifts on weekends to meet the needs of our patients. • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, set realistic goals, and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on physician directives, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each patient.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and clinical notes, using professional terminology to justify skilled therapy requirements.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, enhancing their skills in patient care and rehabilitation techniques.
• Engage in active communication with the healthcare team to collaborate on treatment approaches and address patient needs effectively.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to enhance patient progress.
• Contribute to the department by offering insights for productivity improvements and maintaining a positive work culture conducive to continuous professional development.

As a Physical Therapist at Swift Peace Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with a diverse range of patients recovering from surgery, trauma, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient-centric approach ensures that care is individualized based on age, functional abilities, and specific health conditions, fostering optimal recovery and a significant improvement in the quality of life.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in computer systems and documentation software to ensure accurate record-keeping.

• At least one year of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a preference for experience in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience working with specific patient populations (e.g., post-surgical, geriatric, neurological) is a plus.

Swift Peace Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
