⏰ Overtime: Occasional, not on a regular basis Position Summary PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support accounting, inventory reporting, cost analysis, financial reconciliation, and budgeting activities in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting while supporting key business decisions through detailed financial analysis. Key Responsibilities ✅ Participate in the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion ✅ Prepare monthly journal entries and inventory-related reconciliations ✅ Maintain daily inventory records and oversee metal receiving functions ✅ Reconcile inventory activity, billings, and associated cost variances ✅ Maintain Cast House melting and casting activity worksheets ✅ Analyze alloy activity and prepare journal vouchers ✅ Research and explain financial variances while collaborating with leadership ✅ Assist with annual budgeting processes by expense category ✅ Review general ledger activity and prepare adjusting entries as needed ✅ Support special projects, reporting requests, and financial analyses ✅ Maintain physical inventory documentation and controls ✅ Perform Oracle to AS400 reconciliations and prepare required adjustments ✅ Support company Self-Assessment Tool initiatives related to inventory and cost accounting Required Qualifications 🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (BBA/BBS) ✔ 2+ years of accounting or finance experience ✔ Experience with: * Journal entries
