PCG Consulting International partners with healthcare organizations to solve complex operational, technology, and business challenges that improve financial performance and patient care.


PCG Consulting International is seeking an experienced Paragon Technical Consultant to support a major hospital revenue recovery and operational stabilization initiative. This role will serve as the technical expert for the Paragon application and database environment, providing system analysis, data extraction, troubleshooting, and technical support to restore critical revenue cycle operations.


Working alongside technical, clinical, and revenue cycle teams, the consultant will help ensure data integrity, identify system issues, and support technical solutions that improve operational performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Paragon application architecture and database structures.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
  • Extract and validate financial and clinical data.
  • Troubleshoot application, database, and system issues.
  • Ensure data integrity across revenue cycle workflows.
  • Support claim reconstruction and data validation efforts.
  • Collaborate with interface, integration, and technical teams.
  • Assist with automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Document technical findings and recommend solutions.

Engagement Details
  • Project-Based W2 Consulting Position
  • Primarily Remote
  • Occasional onsite meetings in the Chicago metropolitan area as project needs require.
  • Several-month engagement with the potential for extension.
