Job description

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Production Assembler to join a leading Company located in the North Canton, OH surrounding area.

  • 1st Shift (Monday-Friday): 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | $18.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday): 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | $19.00/hr
  • 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 4/10 schedule): 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM | $18.00/hr

Perform a variety of learned routines and highly repetitive production operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a simple machine set-up.
  • Assemble materials from individual components using detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • May perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
  • Use a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
  • Inspect/test work for quality, resolve simple problems, recognize errors, and correct or seek assistance.
  • Ensure the acceptable housekeeping practices are followed.
  • Understand and follow applicable company practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow all established safety regulations.
  • Read and understand technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine the sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
  • Clean, prepare, and stage job materials for production according to procedure.
  • Inspect the final product to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Schedule maintenance and repairs of production equipment.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior production experience.

  • Reading and math skills.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
