Junior Level Revit/CAD Drafter

PBS Engineers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Revit/CAD Drafter to support our design production team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build hands-on experience in developing MEP (Mechanical, Electrical,

Plumbing) engineering drawings and models.

Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will assist in creating and maintaining Revit and CAD documentation for a variety of projects, including commercial,

education, aviation, and healthcare facilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow technical skills, gain exposure to real-world project workflows, and develop within a collaborative engineering environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of MEP design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD under.
  • Editing and refining 2D drawings, such as construction plans, layouts, and details based on engineering input or design changes.
  • Modifying existing drawings by adjusting lines, annotations, and symbols to ensure the drawings meet design requirements and PBS standards.
  • Develop floor plans, sections, diagrams, and basic detail drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Work with existing Revit models and CAD files to incorporate redlines, markups, and design changes.
  • Follow company BIM/CAD standards and templates to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Coordinate with senior technicians and engineers to understand project requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Learn and contribute to drawing/model file(s) preparation and organization in Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360/ACC).
  • Participate in training sessions and actively develop drafting and modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Revit and/or AutoCAD in a professional or internship setting, with exposure to real project deliverables.
  • Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Design Technology, or related field (or currently enrolled).
  • Basic understanding of building systems and construction.
  • Eagerness to learn MEP design documentation processes and industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to take directions from senior team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to Autodesk BIM360/ACC.
  • Familiarity with sheet setup, view templates, or model navigation in.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and file organization best practices.
