We're looking for a dynamic Payroll Specialist / Timekeeper to join our team in Austin!  
  • Fulltime, Internal Position: Payroll Specialist
  • Location: Austin, TX
  • Salary: $55,000-63,000/yr
  • Hours:  Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, HR administration, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience within the construction or staffing industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and handling high-volume employee data.
  • Proficient in Excel, especially with formulas and pivot tables.
  • Timerack and Avionte experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable being employee facing and sitting at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
Core Responsibilities
  • Review and verify clock-in and clock-out records for 200-300 employees on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies or errors with employee timecards.
  • Communicate directly with employees to clarify time entries, gather missing information, and facilitate timely corrections.
  • Track daily contractor attendance and report headcount to supervisors multiple times a day.
  • Analyze attendance trends and provide coaching to employees as needed/applicable.
