Job description

Are you a Payroll Manager open to a new opportunity and ready to get to work NOW? We have this position, and many others, so let's talk. This Payroll & Benefits Manager would be working on a contract basis with a growing organization undergoing significant transformation and process improvement initiatives. The company is located south of Seattle. This is a contract role, ongoing, for the time being however there is a high possibility of this becoming full-time. .

As a Payroll & Benefits Manager in this position, you would be responsible for:

  • Leading payroll operations, domestic and international
  • Managing a team of payroll professionals
  • Overseeing benefits administration and vendor relationships
  • Driving payroll system enhancements and process improvements
  • Supporting payroll tax compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Partnering with HR, Finance, and executive leadership
  • Improving controls, procedures, and reporting capabilities
  • Assisting with various special projects and organizational initiatives

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a lasting impact during a period of growth and transformation. The ideal candidate will enjoy rolling up their sleeves while also providing leadership and direction to the team.

If you have:

  • 7+ years of progressive payroll experience including management responsibilities
  • Experience processing and overseeing multi-state payroll
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, payroll taxes, and benefits administration
  • ADP experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
