Position Overview:

The Payroll & Tax Supervisor will be the cornerstone of our payroll operations, ensuring all aspects of payroll and taxes are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role demands a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and a keen eye for detail, providing a challenging and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Oversee the entire payroll process for diverse employee groups, ensuring precision in calculations and compliance with all regulations.
  • Tax Filings and Reporting: Manage timely submissions of all payroll-related tax documents, including but not limited to Forms 941, 940, W-2s, and state-specific returns.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all applicable payroll tax laws and regulations, implementing rigorous checks and balances within the payroll process.
  • System and Vendor Management: Lead the management and optimization of payroll systems and vendor relationships, driving efficiency and resolving any service issues.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Guide and mentor the payroll team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPP, CPA) preferred.
