A day in the life...

As Staff Accountant, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance, accounting, & payroll operations of Napa Valley Wine Train. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. You are highly detail-oriented & enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, maintaining accuracy, and collaborating with multiple departments. You are excited to accept the daily challenge involving a combination of financial analysis, payroll processing, compliance, and supporting the organization's overall financial health. 

Requirements:

YOU OWN THIS IF YOU HAVE...  

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field. 
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting and/or payroll experience for medium to large sized organization. 
  • Proficiency with Ventrata, Acumatica, Craftable, Hotel Effectiveness, Paylocity. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
