Job Overview:
We're seeking a dynamic Payroll Project Analyst to support complex payroll projects, enhance system implementations, and ensure seamless payroll operations. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll systems, support acquisitions, and deliver accurate, timely results that empower our organization. If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to make a difference, this is your opportunity to shine!
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of payroll processing or payroll operations experience in a complex, multi-state or multi-entity environment
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, timekeeping, or workforce management system implementations, upgrades, or migrations
  • Working knowledge of time and attendance systems, including workflows, schedules, pay rules, accruals, interfaces, and reporting
  • Experience with requirements gathering data mapping, user acceptance testing, reconciliation, and post-go-live support
  • Prior experience supporting acquisition-related payroll activities and employee data transitions
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to data accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong collaboration skills with HR, HRIS, IT, Finance, and vendors
  • Familiarity with platforms such as ADP EV6, Workforce Now, UKG/Kronos, Workday Time Tracking, or comparable systems

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with ADP eTime or enterprise time systems
  • Knowledge of payroll or HRIS configurations related to organizational integrations
  • Certifications related to payroll, HR, or project management

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience supporting payroll system projects within a fast-paced environment
