Position Overview:

EndSolution Communication LLC (ESC) is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support our growing workforce. In this role, you'll ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining payroll records, assisting with reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. You'll work closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and project teams to help keep our payroll process efficient and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Review employee time records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records, employee deductions, garnishments, and direct deposit information.
  • Verify new hire, termination, and compensation changes before payroll processing.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management and accounting.
  • Assist with payroll tax filings and year-end reporting.
  • Respond to employee payroll questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support month-end reconciliations and other accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
  • Recommend process improvements that increase payroll accuracy and efficiency.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Construction industry payroll experience is a plus but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of payroll experience, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant payroll experience.
  • Payroll certification (Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.

Pay Ranges: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour.
