POSITION TITLE: PAYROLL CLERK Full Time) 

DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES/PAYROLL

REPORTS TO: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER/PAYROLL DEPT MANGER

FLSA STATUS: HOURLY

Hawk Auto, is part of one of Chicago's dynamic and rapidly growing automotive groups, with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. As a trusted name in the industry, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations. We are looking for a Payroll Clerk, on site for our Westmont corporate office.

Essential Duties:

· Accurate Payroll Processing: You’ll take charge of processing employee payroll on scheduled dates, ensuring timely and correct payments.

· Monitor Time Reporting: Proactively monitor our electronic time reporting system to prevent errors and work with managers to address any issues.

· Resolve Payroll Inquiries: Be the go-to person for employees, answering their payroll related questions and resolving any concerns with professionalism and accuracy.

· Bonus & Commission Payouts: You’ll manage bonus and commission payouts, ensuring everything is handled promptly and correctly.

· Generate Payroll Reports: Prepare and maintain important payroll reports for internal use and compliance.

· Employee Benefits and Union Payments: Process invoices related to employee benefits and union employee fund payments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma/GED required.

· Payroll processing experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll, ADP Workforce Now a plus.

· Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Good time management and organizational skills.

· Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
