The Payroll Analyst manages a broad range of responsibilities, including reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and auditing of payroll across multiple legal entities and countries. The role will support, manage and analyze payroll data and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for 6500+ employees in North America.   • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office).
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly; update/correct pay data as identified through analysis/audit.
  • Participate in internal/external organizational audits related to payroll.
  • Follow any new updated guidance on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Update and review standard operating procedures and perform quarterly document reviews related to payroll.
  • Independently manage Oracle timecards process including auditing and reporting of timekeeping records, monitoring timely approvals by managers and completing mass submit for payroll processing.
  • Process supplemental payrolls for stock, bonuses or ad hoc payments.
  • Resolve all payroll discrepancies, process adjustments, manual checks and answer escalated employee and management inquiries, as needed.
  • Create HDSL data loads for all payroll elements needed for processing & partner with HRIS for imports.
  • Load manual payroll adjustments and review balances for payroll elements.
  • Prepare timecard reconciliations to validate timekeeping files balances to payroll processing.
  • Partner with payroll leads to audit payroll changes (new hires, terms, salary changes etc.).
  • Update and correct pay data as identified through the payroll audit.
  • Perform year-end responsibilities as it relates to T4's/RL1's, T2200 Forms and any YE amendments.
  • Support audit and validation process for supplement compensation payments and work/home location to identify proper state/provincial income tax withholding allocations.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
