Job Summary

Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned department(s).
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Receives, screens, routes, and responds to incoming telephone calls.
  • Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery.
  • May be required to schedule appointments.
  • Greets patients and visitors, answers/screens/routes telephone calls, files, distributes mail, and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Prepares reports, presentations, and other documents as instructed.
  • Audits storage areas and files to find and correct erroneously stored records.
  • Suggests process improvements to reduce or eliminate misfiled records.
  • Extracts information out of clinical and/or non-clinical databases.
  • May be required to enter demographic, employer, or insurance data into various systems timely and accurately.
  • Enters information from a variety of sources into computer database(s). Verifies data entered into computer by checking printouts/reports for errors and correcting as required.
  • May be required to assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and the stocking of supplies.

  • High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
