Summary of Position

As IT Project Manager, you'll help plan, coordinate, and deliver technology projects that support Accounting, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, and other business teams across ExplorUS. You'll work closely with business leaders, IT, vendors, and support teams to keep projects on track, communicate progress, manage risks, and ensure successful implementations. This role supports projects from planning through testing, go-live, training, and post‑launch support.

Responsibilities Project Coordination
  • Coordinate technology projects from planning through implementation and post‑launch support.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, documentation, and status reports.
  • Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely follow‑up on deliverables.
  • Partner with business teams, IT, vendors, and stakeholders to keep projects moving.
Business Systems Support
  • Support projects involving ERP, HRIS, payroll, procurement, reporting, workflow, and other business systems.
  • Coordinate testing, data migration, training, user acceptance, and go‑live activities.
  • Assist with issue tracking, documentation, and transition to ongoing support.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve business processes and system adoption.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Document business requirements, meeting notes, decisions, and project updates.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and next steps to stakeholders.
  • Help resolve questions, clarify priorities, and keep teams aligned.
  • Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
  • Contribute to project templates, documentation, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Approximately 2+ years of project coordination or project management experience supporting IT or business systems projects.
  • Experience working with ERP, HRIS, payroll, finance, procurement, reporting, or other enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with platforms such as NetSuite, Stampli, Paycor, UKG, Workday, Microsoft 365, Snowflake, or similar systems is preferred but not required.
