Payroll Specialist
Location: Oklahoma City , OK
Schedule: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely while providing excellent customer service to employees and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional in appearance and communication, and thrives in a collaborative, quiet team environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, and/or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Audit payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, deductions, taxes, and employee information.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and related administrative tasks.
  • Partner with HR, Accounting, and management teams regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Track and resolve payroll discrepancies through timely follow-up and communication.
  • Utilize payroll and accounting software systems, including UKG and Vista.
  • Support continuous process improvements and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
  • Previous payroll processing experience required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with UKG and Vista preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

  • Stable work history is a plus
