At a Glance:
The Payroll Coordinator supports the accurate and timely processing of multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for approximately 6,000 employees. This role serves as a key resource for payroll-related questions and works closely with operations, Human Resources, and Payroll leadership to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and exceptional employee support. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in supporting employees through accurate payroll processing while collaborating with teams across the organization.
What you will do:
  • Process and audit bi-weekly payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established deadlines.
  • Research and resolve employee payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and pay issues.
  • Process payroll adjustments, direct deposit changes, on-demand payments, and other off-cycle transactions.
  • Review and support timekeeping records in Kronos, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping issues, including Workday and Kronos data interfaces.
  • Create and maintain payroll-related transactions and records within Workday.
  • Coordinate with HR and operational leaders to maintain accurate employee payroll information.
  • Support payroll audits, reporting requirements, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with payroll system testing, process improvements, and special projects.

What you need:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two or more years of payroll, accounting, HR, or related administrative experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience processing payroll in a multi-state environment.
  • Experience with Workday, Kronos, ADP, and Microsoft Excel.
