Payroll Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting payroll operations for more than 2,500 team members across multiple states. Working closely with the Payroll Manager and Payroll Analyst team, you'll help process payroll transactions, maintain payroll records, respond to team member inquiries, and support compliance and audit activities. This is a fully remote role.
What You'll Do:
- Support bi-weekly payroll processing activities for all hospitals nationally.
- Assist Payroll Analysts with payroll audits and validation of payroll data prior to processing.
- Process and track payroll-related tickets, inquiries, and team member requests.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with initial entering and auditing team member payroll changes including direct deposit updates, tax changes, deductions, and earnings adjustments.
- Support processing of off-cycle payrolls and approved payroll corrections.
- Monitor payroll mailboxes for timely follow up and resolution of inquiries.
- Assist with wage garnishment setup, tracking, and documentation.
- Review payroll reports for discrepancies.
- Support reconciliation efforts related to payroll adjustments, tax discrepancies, and returned deposits.
- Coordinate with People Team, HRIS, Operations, and Finance teams regarding payroll-related updates and corrections.
- Maintain payroll tracking logs, spreadsheets, and audit documentation.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation and payroll audits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of payroll, payroll administration, or related administrative experience preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-state payroll operations preferred.
- Dayforce experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
