Job Summary

The Payne Auto Group is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at our stand-alone pre-owned locations. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who can generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and consistently close deals in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

While this position is designed for experienced sales professionals, exceptional candidates without direct automotive experience may be considered. A college degree does not require experience and results matter.


$3,000 Signing Bonus

  • The Payne Auto Group is pleased to offer a $3,000 signing bonus for qualified, experienced Sales Consultants. Paid as $1,000 commission enhancements per month
  • Distributed over the first three (3) months of employment
  • Payments are contingent upon active employment and good standing during each payout period

Bonus Details:

  • Applies only to designated stand-alone pre-owned dealerships
  • Candidate must meet all standard hiring, performance, and compliance requirements
  • Designed to attract seasoned sales professionals who are ready to contribute immediately

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and identify potential customers
  • Contact prospects through cold calling, email, and in-person interactions
  • Understand customer needs and present appropriate product or service solutions
  • Present and demonstrate vehicles and features to potential customers
  • Negotiate and close sales deals effectively
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales goals within established timeframes
  • Stay current on sales best practices, promotions, and market trends
  • Continuously improving performance through feedback and coaching

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a clear and valid driving record for the past three (3) consecutive years
  • Proven experience as a Salesperson or in a similar sales role
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, CRM software, and sales management systems
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus
