Job description

Part-Time Payment Processing Associate 

WORK SCHEDULE: Onsite-Location E. Lansing, MI 

Hours of Operation: No more than 28 hours
M-6-finish (usually 2:30 but needs flexibility)

w-6-finish (usually 2:30 but needs flexibility)

F- 6-finish (usually 2:30 but needs flexibility)

S-6-finish (usually until between 11-1:30 but needs flexibility)

Hourly Rate: $16.50

About the Role 

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative/clerical support for business operations. Review payments. 
  • Performs data entry of material from source documents to a computer database.
  • Provide production services to client operating by performing data entry tasks. 
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of data/assigned work.
  • Ability to compare lists of numbers and find mismatches/errors.
  • Handle multiple assignments.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, informational accuracy, and production.
  • Must be able to work under strict deadlines.
  • Research problematic payments

Idea Candidate
Banking and payment experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a background check and fingerprinting. 
  • Ability to work in multiple programs simultaneously. 
  • Good attendance/punctuality 
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative teamwork
  • Technical ability to use computers with multiple apps at the same time

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
