Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Hire Type: Long Term Contract w. Benefits/PTO
Compensation: $30/hr

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, resolving discrepancies, completing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.


Job Duties: 

  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Work within SAP to support Accounts Payable functions
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Review and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Respond to vendor questions and payment-related inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry
  • Support document management, including scanning, filing, copying, and other administrative tasks
  • Assist with additional Accounts Payable and clerical responsibilities as needed


Qualifications: 

  • Must have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Must have knowledge of SAP Accounts Payable
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
