About the Position

Power Sales is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Lenexa, KS. This position is responsible for ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid on time while providing excellent service to both internal teams and external vendors.


The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their work, can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong eye for detail and accuracy.


What You’ll Do

  • Receive, organize, review, and process invoices in a timely manner
  • Enter and post invoices in D365 ERP using AP Automation software and manual entry
  • Process wire and ACH payments for invoices
  • Maintain and update vendor banking information while monitoring for potential fraudulent activity
  • Research and resolve pricing discrepancies and communicate with vendors as needed
  • Respond to internal and external questions regarding accounts payable
  • Maintain accurate AP records and documentation
  • Assist with reporting, administrative tasks, and special projects as needed
  • Support the accounting team with other duties as assigned
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of recent accounts payable experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with an ERP system is a plus; D365 experience is preferred
