Job Description
TE is lookingforcontract ASL interpreters to work up to five days a week onour
busy governmentcontracts!
Minimumguaranteed hours and competitive rates!
On site and VRI capability required.
Three years of professional ASL interpreting experience and RIDcertified is preferable
CURRENT GOVERNMENTCONTRACTS
  • Department of Education (ED)
  • Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • General Services Administration (GSA)
  • Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
  • National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
  • Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
  • Transportation Security Agency (TSA)

Requirements
    **Background check is required and the interpreters will be compensated for this effort.
    Therefore, once you receive your Background Investigation final approval letter you will be paid compensation of $150 for completing the IRS security clearance process.
    Additional Requirements:
  • Fluent ASL andspoken English language skills
  • Able to provideaccurate interpretation
  • Understanding ofDeaf culture
  • Thorough knowledgeof and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
  • Three to fiveyears of experience in interpreting (preferred but not required)
  • As applicable,state licensure or state-required credentials
  • Must pass thecompany's interpreting skills assessment
  • You must be 18years or older to apply.
