Job Summary -
We are hiring a skilled Paver Operator to operate machinery used in the construction and maintenance of asphalt roads, parking lots, and other paved surfaces. This role requires safe and efficient operation of paving equipment such as asphalt pavers, rollers, skid steers, and compactors. The ideal candidate has experience in road construction, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including Mini excavators, Pavers, Skid steers and Forklifts depending on the project needs
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and report issues promptly
  • Load, unload, and position equipment safely on job sites
  • Work with the paving crew to ensure even asphalt distribution, proper compaction, and smooth finish
  • Follow grade markers and layout specifications to achieve desired slope and thickness
  • Maintain control of speed, feed, and depth of material application
  • Assist with handwork or labor duties when equipment is not in use
  • Comply with all safety regulations, traffic control procedures, and company policies
  • Communicate clearly with crew members and foreman during paving operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements -

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • 2+ years of experience operating paving or heavy equipment preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols

  • Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • CDL license is a plus but not required
  • Ability to pass a drug test and adhere to safety standards
