The Patient Services Representative at Crescent Community Health Center is responsible for providing exceptional service to patients by managing their appointments, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of operations within the healthcare facility. This role is crucial in maintaining patient satisfaction and supporting the healthcare team's efforts in delivering quality care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, coordinating with healthcare providers to optimize clinic operations.

Qualifications

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Education - An associate degree or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred. Required Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient services or customer service roles.

Preferred Experience: Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable. Previous experience in a community health center or similar environment is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate patient information management and scheduling.
