  • Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of Tenet Physician Resources, including the Tenet HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Greets patients entering the practice.
  • Manages office communications, including answering phones, making, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments.
  • Checks in patients, collects accurate patient demographics, verifies insurance, and enters data into the electronic system.
  • Checks out patients and assists them with referral processing and scheduling.
  • Collects co-pays and posts charges.
  • Processes charge entry and patient balances.
  • Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, and practice information.
  • Explains the patient portal and assists with patient enrollment.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as needed.
