Highlights:

Summary: The Patient Services, Team Lead shall be responsible to oversee the overall activities of the Patient Access department. This individual shall provide training and in-service education to employees. The Team Lead will coordinate with either the clinic leadership or Patient Access leadership to maintain appropriate staffing to ensure no interruption in workflow. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education / Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a hospital or medical practice patient access related role required. Experience in health information management, registration, collections, or scheduling preferred.

License / Certification:

None

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills with experience utilizing MS Office programs, EMR, and other relevant computer systems.

  • Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.

  • Ability to interact with patients and guests to promote a positive experience.

  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.

  • Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
