  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
  • Scheduling and/or prescheduling patient appointments.
  • Greeting patients and/or their representatives and providing direction as needed.
  • Assist patient and/or their representative with completing registration/intake forms (paper and online).
  • Answer phones and complete clerical tasks.
  • Provide patient appointment reminder phone calls.
    • Verification of insurance eligibility/coverage and obtaining necessary preauthorization.
    • Identify available programs for uninsured patients, assist patients with completing applications.
    • Collecting/processing co-payments, deductibles and/or other types of payments.
    • Coordinate care and appointments with other medical offices/facilities.
    • Create and manage patient records in electronic record system.
    • May be able to travel to community outreach events.
    • Work well in team environment.
