Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be integral to our mental health team, delivering therapeutic services that address a wide range of family dynamics and individual issues. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting initial assessments and ongoing therapy sessions with couples and families, ensuring a supportive environment conducive to frank discussions.
  • Providing specialized therapy focused on issues such as alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief, family conflict resolution, and adjustment concerns related to separation and divorce.
  • Creating tailored treatment plans based on individual client needs and their family dynamics.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, as necessary, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in line with regulatory compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidates will work primarily with adult clients, families, and children/adolescents experiencing various emotional and behavioral issues. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid LMFT license in the state of Georgia.
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
