Positional Responsibilities:

  • An employee in this or any position is expected to support the employment environment, including displaying Pathways' values.
  • Implement treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to individuals on the Autism Spectrum on a one-on-one basis.
  • Use positive reinforcement to change socially important behavior in meaningful ways.
  • Diligently and consistently collect specific and appropriate patient progress behavior data.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors, parents/guardians, patients, and community stakeholders.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
  • Work independently and with your supervisor to implement treatment plans.
  • Complete all required training, projects, session notes, and any other assigned task by the established deadline.
  • Meet all clinical and administrative deadlines including data submission, payroll, and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Flexible availability between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Willing to work in-home sessions
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Pass a TB test
  • Maintain and show proof of state driver's license or identification
  • Ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to interact with clients, including but not limited to; bending, twisting, and moving quickly

Preferred Requirements:

  • Adult, child, and infant First Aid/CPR certified (pre-employment)
  • BA/BS in psychology or related field
  • Experience in ABA
  • Relevant professional experience with behavioral health issues
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

  • Loves to play and interact with children, teens, and young adults
  • Ability to solve a conflict in a straightforward, timely, and professional way
  • Flexible and sensitive to different and varied socio-economic environments
