Position Overview
ATC Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at NYCCC in Queens, NY. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and help patients reach their communication and swallowing goals.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide direct therapy using evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational/physical therapists, and other staff to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support therapy progress.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current New York State Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) may be considered.
  • Experience in clinical, rehabilitation, outpatient, or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
