Job description

Your mission & challenges
  • Interdisciplinary and practice-oriented work in all areas of intellectual property (IP), in particular holistic handling of matters in the fields of patent, trademark and design law in an international market environment

  • Registration and enforcement of patents in Germany and abroad as well as optimal structuring of the patent portfolio

  • Shaping IP clauses in contracts with cooperation partners and universities

  • Optimization of processes and strategies in patent management for long-term success

  • Preparing and conducting searches and participating in freedom-to-operate analyses

  • Representing the company's interests vis-à-vis external law firms, partners and third parties

  • Versatile tasks in a dynamic environment that requires creative thinking and active participation beyond pure file work

What we can look forward to
  • Successfully completed MINT studies, in particular electrical engineering, computer science, engineering or physics

  • Preferably completed training as a German Patent Attorney and/or European Patent Attorney or on the way to becoming one

  • Comprehensive expertise in the analysis of complex patent law issues, preferably also in other areas of intellectual property law

  • Knowledge of international jurisdictions is an advantage

  • Strong teamwork skills, assertiveness, communication and negotiation skills

  • Fluent in German and English
