WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Structure, negotiate, and close patent acquisitions, licensing agreements, and intellectual property transactions.
  • Advise clients on patent portfolio strategy, commercialization, licensing, and intellectual property monetization.
  • Provide intellectual property due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, financing transactions, and strategic investments.
  • Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements involving intellectual property assets.
  • Counsel financial services and corporate clients on intellectual property risks and transaction strategy.
  • Partner with corporate, finance, tax, and litigation teams on complex, multi-disciplinary transactions.
  • Support clients throughout all phases of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify legal risks and develop practical business-focused solutions.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Active North Carolina Bar license or eligibility for admission.
  • 3-8 years of transactional legal experience.
