We're passionate about quality food and are looking for a reliable Pastry Assistant to help prepare breakfast pastries, cookies, baked treats, and healthy baked goods to delight our customers.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and baking breakfast pastries such as muffins, croissants, scones, and danishes.
  • Help prepare cookies, bars, and other sweet treats.
  • Support the preparation of healthy and dietary-specific baked goods, including gluten-free and vegan options.
  • Follow recipes and instructions accurately to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Keep the pastry area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory checks and restocking baking ingredients and supplies.
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a pastry/bakery
  • Some experience or interest in baking, preferably in breakfast pastries and baked treats.
  • Willingness to learn and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts, including weekends.
