Job description

Passaic County Community College is seeking a Part-time Technical Assistant to provide support to the Office of Academic Affairs. This position reports directly to the Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
  • Data entry for assigned projects.
  • Research assigned projects
  • Assist with data collection.
  • Troubleshoot issues as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND BACKGROUND:
  • Minimum 24 credits from an accredited college/university required.
  • Previous experience in office setting preferred.
  • Superior computer skills and knowledge of various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, One Drive, Excel, and research engines required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced enironment.

Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $16-$20.
