About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and mission-aligned Licensed Therapist to join our growing clinical team. In this part-time role, you will carry an individual caseload, provide evidence-based treatment, and contribute to the culture of care that defines our practice. This is an opportunity to do meaningful clinical work within a supportive, community-rooted practice that values your growth as much as our clients.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual therapy sessions to clients with various mental health needs (target: 2530 billable sessions/week)
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based frameworks (DBT, CBT, trauma-informed approaches, etc.)
  • Facilitate group therapy or psychoeducational groups as assigned
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques (EMDR, DBT, SE, IFS etc) to facilitate client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate workshops and participate in community tabling events to promote mental wellness.
  • Stay current with best practices in therapy and attend ongoing professional development.
  • Participate in Bi-weekly team meetings and practice initiatives
  • Contribute to community programming, workshops, or circles as capacity allows
  • Engage warmly and professionally with clients, referral partners, and community members
Requirements:
  • Active New York State licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, (no associates or pre-licensed candidates at this time)
  • Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed care and at least one evidence-based modality (DBT, CBT, EMDR, CPT, etc.)
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including BIPOC communities
  • Strong written documentation skills; experience with EHR systems
  • Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole)
  • Experience with working with children/families and couples
  • Background in community mental health, outpatient, or group practice settings
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms and hybrid care delivery
