Job description

The Part-Time Human Resource Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, managing filing and documentation, supporting benefits administration, assisting with ADP-related HR functions, and providing compliance support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. This is a part-time non-exempt role without benefits. Essential Functions

  • Maintain and organize employee personnel files, both electronic and paper
  • Perform general HR administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, copying, and document processing
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries
  • Support administration of HR processes in ADP, including employee data updates, document management, and report generation
  • Ensure HR records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Assist with compliance support, including tracking required documentation, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining audit-ready records
  • Prepare and distribute HR forms, notices, and correspondence as needed
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR procedures and benefits
  • Handle sensitive communications with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with payroll, benefits providers, and internal departments as needed
  • Support onboarding and offboarding tasks related to documentation and system updates
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in HR, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and filing skills with high attention to detail
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Prior administrative or human resources experience preferred
  • Experience with ADP and Payroll strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive communications professionally
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional in appearance, manner and tone.
  • A team player who possesses the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
